"I have served FBC Leesburg for 17 years. I truly feel our best years are in front of us. We can look back and see God's hand. We can look forward and know that same hand leads us. My personal vision is to see lives touched by the truth, I know Jesus is truth and He is what makes life complete. I love to see people come to faith in Christ. I'll be honest with you, that is my passion. I love to see the church in love with each other, encouraging each other, fellowshipping with each other; this is a picture of heaven. How beautiful is the bride of Christ."

"It is my prayer to be used in a manner of ministry that will glorify Christ and equip others in understanding and applying God’s Word. Today there is a movement of relative truth. Because of this, there exists a great need for God’s Word to be taught and experienced, not just “talked about!”

Ephesians 4:12-14 tells us that Christ has gifted us, “for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,” This is our goal as the Body, to experience the fullness of Christ.

"It is my heart and that of our Pastor and staff that this church exist to serve God as he has charged in Acts 1:8 and Matthew 28. We are to worship our Lord Jesus, evangelize, disciple, teach, minister to others and fellowship with the body.  At First Baptist Leesburg, you can expect biblically sound teaching from God’s word delivered without apology or compromise. We are committed to equipping the saints to reach the lost for Jesus Christ and minister to the needs of our community in a manner that will glorify and honour God. We don’t pretend to be perfect and we don’t expect you to be either. We are just a fellowship of people striving to find out more about our Creator and what His plan is for our life. You don’t have to wait to “get your act together” before joining us. Chances are, if you could change on your own, you would have done it already. So, come as you are. You don’t have to do life alone.

We invite you to learn more about First Baptist Leesburg and hope you’ll visit us soon. We believe you’ll feel welcome and will discover why so many people call First Leesburg their home!
